This is a small village located just below where we are staying. We hope to interact with the folks throughout the week. Only around 75 live here. Quite poor.
These are the "dorms" we are staying in. The girls on the left, guys on the right. As you can see, the terrain is quite rocky with a lot of mountains (Sierra Madre).
This is inside the compound where we stayed outside of Laredo last light called Stepping Stones ministry. They were very gracious. Slept well (long day of driving). Left for mission site around 8:30 this morning. Tomorrow we get after it. Pray for us and those we come into contact with.Hope to post tomorrow - PR

Yay! Glad to hear you all made it in fine form. It looks really deselate and lonely out there. I am praying for productivity spiritually and physically (physical in the completion of project not like draining physical). And also praying for the wives back home that the week passes quickly as for myself am missing my husband something fierce. Picked up the phone today to visit with him(me being the phone gal and all) only to remember he can't be reached at this time. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow and I will be anxiously awaiting posts and pics!
