PLATE IS FULL!

Sorry about the lack of blogs lately. Running on overload right now - lots going on. I appreciate your prayers.

Also, thanks for the prayers for M.L's sister Betsy who is recuperating after a car accident that left her with a fractured neck and back and broken rib. She hopes to be leaving the hospital (Wesley) today. We'll see.

How's it going with all of you??

Wow, sorry to hear about Betsy. Hope she heals quickly. Busy around here too. My bosses dad, Ed Costello passed away yesterday, so my plate's pretty full around here. Hope to catch up with you at Emmaus. We're planning on working all day and into the evening at it on Sat the 12th. KF

I know you have some very good personal friends in the Leoti community. Hope you lean on them when you need them. Pastors are human and need a break as much or more than we need a break from the everyness of stuff. Pastors just have a lot more stuff then we do.
You are a special breed of cat, Pastor. Take care of yourself.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and phone calls of support. God is good and I am blessed with good Christians friends like you all. I was reading in Hebrews 12 this morning and once again was reminded to endure, to persevere. And how do we do that? By keeping our eyes FIXED upon Jesus, the author and perfector of the faith. As you know, we can so often get sidetracked by all the "stuff" of life and soon lose focus. I don't want to do that and I know you don't want to do that. So let's all covenant together to remain focused upon Jesus (even if we have to squint, stare, or blink our eyes a few times). He has blazed the trail for us. Let's stay on that trail.
