BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP!

Just a few more pictures from our recent trip to the high country. As you can see, the scenery is awesome. No wonder we sing "when I in awesome wonder". We experienced the changing of the colors of the leaves on the trees, the beauty of overlooking a mountain ridge on a lake below, as well as the snow that fell on our last day. In the midst of all this, how can anyone say there is no Creator, that all this "just happened". No way!
Beginning this Sunday I am beginning a series on worship. God's creation cries out that we worship Him. What else can we do? "For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him" (psalm 95:3-4).

You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day...or you can teach a man to fish and feed him and his friends forever...Did you get supper out of that beautiful pond???

Let's just say we had fish additives to sustain us. P.R.

Great views. When I see birds in the air, flowers blooming, changes in the seasons and my most favorite - the eyes of a grandchild I know that GOD IS THE GOD OF ALL CREATION. Even in the mess of life GOD is GOD, GOD is LOVE and it's all good. I'm looking forward to church services, you are doing a great job.

Would have been really beautiful to see the picture of that elk running freely through all of that before he lost his life..........

I always find that when i'm in the mountains it is easy to worship God. Creation is at its peak in the Rockies. But when I come back to the flatlands of Kansas for some reason I tend to think of it as a lesser masterpiece. A series on worship definitely will help to understand Who we worship and why we worship and that its not done only in the most beautiful parts of the world, but even in the lowest valleys.
