SO, WHAT'S YOUR PICK?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I was just wondering. It seemed to me that while I was in Hawaii these churches looked like they were needing a pastor for their flock. I realize it would be difficult to live in a 70 -80 degree climate on a daily basis but someone has to do it. And my wife seems to be open to the idea of sun and warmth, rain , green plants, tropical fruit, and the such. So, if you can just help me decide which place to check out, I'll take it from here.

ALOHA!!!

When Lori and I took the "road to Hana" on Maui, there was an old church WAAAAY up in the mountain that was built in the 1870's. It had no electricity or running water, but they said it was still in use. How about pastoring at that one? By the way, not too far on down the road, we went by Kris Kristoferson's (sp?) Hawaiin home. What a neighbor he'd be!!! KF

Um, I don't think they would consider a Western Kansas hick at one of those high-tech churches! You wouldn't be able to leave this lovely wind anyway.

I know you will do what the Lord calls you to do but as for me I think you should stay where you are and I hope God has the same idea. You know grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. Are you up for rustic or modern? I think there is still plenty of people around Leoti that needs saved. I will pray but you know from my response witch way I will direct my prayers.

That would be too bad if we had to come visit you there and go snorkeling, and hiking, and watching whales, and swimming in the ocean... and they have a Walmart too! KDJ

Regarding the third comment. Did your last sentence mean to say "witch" or "which"? I just wonder if I should go buy a broom or a vat or a pointy hat.

And you're right. Even though grass can look greener, you still have to water it.

Oops!! I guess that is why you should proof read before printing. Don't go buy a broom yet. It should be which.

Make sure you check out the parsonage - we all want a free place to stay when we visit.
